The fun88乐天堂首页cal Distribution Network is a $1.5 Billion distributor-owned organization designed to position distributors to better service customers in the rapidly changing chemical distribution industry and evolving e-commerce market.

CDN evolved out of a group called ChemSource, which was comprised of Illinois-based chemical distributors. ChemSource came together to take advantage of the economies and increased marketing power being part of a group affords.

Larry Hayes, the first Chairman of CDN, was also Chairman of ChemSource. The success of ChemSource led the group to expand beyond the Midwest.聽聽The fun88乐天堂首页cal Distribution Network had its first organizational meeting in June of 2000.

The network assists its independent distributor members to effectively improve customer service.聽聽Group marketing programs also help individual members compete in what has become a consolidating, competitive industry.

CDN is expanding and adding new members and new distribution points.聽聽While CDN members uses an e-commerce to connect with customers and suppliers electronically, all CDN members are established companies with 鈥渂ricks and mortar鈥� distribution facilities.聽聽They are not 鈥渄ot coms.鈥�

CDN’s Warrenville, IL headquarters functions as a central office, providing a platform for shared investment in technology and coordination of the network activities and programs. CDN was led by Chris Coates who was Executive Director for 16 years. CDN’s present management team includes Keith Pappert-Association Managing Director, Russell Lecomte-Imports Managing Director, and a Board of Managing Members.
